Four Months Old

You are over 1/4 way to being ONE year old! No way.....you need to slow down on the growing:( We have absolutely LOVED seeing you blossom into the sweet girl you are! You have given us a few belly laughs and it's so fun making you laugh and seeing you smile. We can see the love in your eyes and it just melts our hearts! Mommy works 2-12's a week and the days I have off I enjoy spending with you! You are able to do more and this past week-end you went on your first swim. At first you weren't sure and just watched but then you warmed up. You wanted us to hold you compared to floating in your floaty. But, you did fit a little funny and would lean back in it. You also went to your first Birthday party (cousin Katie Jo's) but you couldn't get in all the action....still too small. ha. That's okay because you won't be small long and mommy likes holding you:) Here is to another wonderful month with our blessing!

* you weigh 12lb 12 oz (20th percentile) and 25 1/4 inches tall (80th percentile)
* wearing size 1 diapers

* wearing a mix of 0-3 and 3-6 month clothes

* starting to be an eater this past week and can eat 5-7 ounces at a feeding (every 3-4 hours)

* you are an awesome sleeper and usually want to go to bed around 7:30-8pm and wake between 6-7am....sleeping through the night! 

* used your jumperoo for the first time on Father's Day (15 weeks old). We wanted to see what you would do more so, you lasted 10 minutes or so. With some pillows underneath you could kinda jump but not really

* really starting to grab and actually hold onto your toys and just started grabbing and holding onto your feet/toes

* you used to hate tummy time but now it seems when we lay you on your back you flip right on over to your belly and just hang out

* still love when we talk to you and you give us the silliest smile and cheese from ear to ear. sometimes you get to be quite the talker and can talk (jabber) away 

* when you are ready to eat you are READY....no messing around. lol.. You are such a good eater but do spit up and so we usually have a bib on you a lot. You also need a bib because you still love sucking/chewing on your fingers so we usually have a lot of slobber

* your hair is growing so fast and is coming in all blonde
