Ten Months Old

Look who is ten months old already! This month momma cut back to working just one 12 hour shift a week since dad was working extra long hours at UPS. I always love this time of year but it makes it harder when this is the toughest time of year for your dad at work. I loved spending the extra time with you though...we just missed dad!!! You are such a good traveler and I took you shopping with me a couple times and you loved it! As long as you had things to look at and people to smile at you were fine.

You were still busy but this month seemed much easier because you would keep content longer with your toys or things we were doing. This month was still the month of exploring though! When you get bored you usually crawl to the kitchen and straight for Khloe's dog food bowl, cabinets (only certain ones you open...as of now) or your walker. You love to stand on it and it makes momma nervous! You also learned to finally walk around in your walker!!!! One day you just took off and you are a pro at it! This month was also the month where you found your love for food. lol. Anytime we are eating you come crawling as fast as you can! You like pretty much anything and everything! You look like a little birdie when you want to eat and it's the cutest thing! It's so much fun seeing you grow and try new things! We can't get enough of you and just want to kiss you all the time. We love you more than you will ever know.

*Eating 8 ounces in the morning and bedtime and 6 ounces for lunch and supper along with some food. 

*Size 3 diapers

*Size 9 month clothes and size 3 shoes

*Your favorite toys are your activity table, walker, cook and play potsy, books and your soft blocks

*This month you loved saying dada or dad ALL the time

Nine Months Old

You are nine months old but it feels like you are going on a year! You are acting so much older and it kinda makes momma sad. You are slowly going from baby to toddler! We love to watch you grow and to see your little personality blossom. You are so much fun right now and such a busy bee!! You aren't scared to venture outside the living room alone now and love to explore. Usually you head to Khloe's food bowl, anywhere momma or dadda may be or along the fireplace. You are such a little sweetheart and we can't get enough of you! 

*You weigh 17 pounds (35th percentile) and are 28 1/4 inches tall (75th percentile)

*Eating 8 ounces in the morning and bedtime and 6 ounces and 1.5 jars of baby food for lunch and supper.

*Recently moved to size 3 diapers

*Wearing 6-9 month clothes 

*Your favorite toys are your activity table, cook and play potsy, opening/closing books and balls.

 *You love to watch Khloe and you think she is pretty funny (like when she crunches on your puffs or sneezes). You love to be held and love to look around when we go places. You can say momma, dadda, baba (rare but you have said it) and ba (ball). You love to clap your hands and make this cute scrunched sniffing face:)

Halloween

This year we had so much fun on Halloween! Maybe it was because we had our sweet girl to enjoy it with:) I'm not into the ghosts and gobblins part really but do love making Halloween fun. I love theme costumes and so this year Harper was an elephant, Jarod was a safari guide and I was the tourist! It was something easy we could put together without spending a lot. Whenever I was searching costumes I couldn't resist the big ears on the elephant costume. It was comfy enough for Harper and I knew it would keep her warm. Keeping her warm was important this year since the temperatures dropped into the 30's!!! I don't think I ever remember it being that cold on Halloween. We still went trick or treating around the neighborhood but instead of walking just drove. We were able to spend some time with family, get candy (only year we will be able to eat it all. lol) and watch Harper's reactions on her First Halloween!

Eight Months Old

Every month I always say, I can't believe how big you are getting!!! You are so lovable and momma just wants to kiss you ALL the time! You have done so much this month and I just love seeing you reach different milestones. You started to crawl at seven months and two days old! You aren't much of a crawler yet and would rather pull up on anything you can get your little hands on and cruise along it. One day I was trying to get you to crawl towards me and you didn't want to go that far, so you made a pit-stop and tried pulling up on the wall. haha. You say mom, momma and mum all the time! We can officially say, mom is your first word:) You are such a happy baby and pretty laid back for the most part and definitely a mommy's girl! We bought you an activity table the other day because we thought you needed a "bigger" girl toy since you are always wanting to stand up. You love it!! It amazes how much more you can do each month. We have waited so long for this and we just eat it up and enjoy every minute with you sweetheart!!

*Eating 7.5 ounces for breakfast and bedtime and 5.5 ounces and a jar of baby food for lunch and supper.

*Love your activity table, cook and play potsy, magazines, watching Khloe, taking walks, people watching (when we go to stores you love to just look around), kisses on your belly/neck and your paci (somehow you have started to love this thing)

*Went on another road trip, this time to Tennessee to see your grandma. We stayed a couple nights in a real cabin and you helped dad build a fire (if watching counts) and got to explore some of Chattanooga:)
