Eight Months Old

Every month I always say, I can't believe how big you are getting!!! You are so lovable and momma just wants to kiss you ALL the time! You have done so much this month and I just love seeing you reach different milestones. You started to crawl at seven months and two days old! You aren't much of a crawler yet and would rather pull up on anything you can get your little hands on and cruise along it. One day I was trying to get you to crawl towards me and you didn't want to go that far, so you made a pit-stop and tried pulling up on the wall. haha. You say mom, momma and mum all the time! We can officially say, mom is your first word:) You are such a happy baby and pretty laid back for the most part and definitely a mommy's girl! We bought you an activity table the other day because we thought you needed a "bigger" girl toy since you are always wanting to stand up. You love it!! It amazes how much more you can do each month. We have waited so long for this and we just eat it up and enjoy every minute with you sweetheart!!

*Eating 7.5 ounces for breakfast and bedtime and 5.5 ounces and a jar of baby food for lunch and supper.

*Wearing size 2 diapers

*Wearing 6-9 month clothes

*Love your activity table, cook and play potsy, magazines, watching Khloe, taking walks, people watching (when we go to stores you love to just look around), kisses on your belly/neck and your paci (somehow you have started to love this thing)

*Went on another road trip, this time to Tennessee to see your grandma. We stayed a couple nights in a real cabin and you helped dad build a fire (if watching counts) and got to explore some of Chattanooga:)

EIGHT months old!

          

Seven Months Old

Another month has passed and now you are seven months old! You are so much fun and you like to really watch and soak everything in. You are wanting to be a big girl but you still need some help;) You like to somewhat crawl (you are almost crawling!!!) towards us and then we hold our hands out and you love to pull yourself up. It's one of your favorite things to do! Once you stand you always give a big smile and will usually start squealing and making noises. You are always so happy and we give you lovin all the time! You are so stinkin sweet and we just love you to pieces! Khloe still gets a little jealous and fights for attention sometimes and always wants to play ball while we are playing with you. Just wait....you two will be best of buddies!

*Eating 6-7.5 ounces four times a day and 1 jar of baby food

*Wearing size 2 diapers

*Wearing mostly 3-6 and some 6-9 month clothes

*Love your jumperoo, cook and play potsy, toys that make noises (not too loud though), watching Khloe, taking walks, doing the airplane, paci (you like to pull it out and put it back in), kisses and flipping over while we try to change your diaper

1/2 Year Old & Gulf Shores

The title of this post makes me want to cry....I don't know what I'm going to do when you turn ONE! I'm so thankful that we have been able to enjoy these first six months of your life with you. There is no way to describe how much joy you bring to our life! I remember all those years, months, weeks, hours and seconds praying for you. So many nights I would go to bed sad because I was longing to hold you, meet you, call your ours and be your mommy! You bring to so much happiness with your presence and your smile can light up a room. You complete every part of our family and are such a blessing. I thank God for you everyday! We love you more than you will ever, ever know!!!

You are starting to think you are big stuff;) These past few months you have blossomed into a bigger girl. This past week you have started to get on your hands and knees, but get mad because you can't go anywhere after you get into that position. You love when we hold your hands and let you stand and you can almost sit on your own! You almost have it but can be a little wobbly and topple to one side after a bit. Give it a week! You seen the ocean for the FIRST time last week! Our first beach vacay was at Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, AL! I was SO excited to take you and made sure we got lots of pictures and videos of your first glimpse of that big ol' body of water;) You seemed to like the sand and even played in it and the water you really didn't know what to think of by the look on your face. We planned everything out based on your naps and bedtime and you did pretty good! One day you were a little fussy (happened to be my b-day), but I think it's because that was our busy day. I loved making these memories with you and can't wait to take you back next year!!

* You weighed 14lb 13oz (30th percentile) and 27 inches tall (90th percentile) at your appt.

*You love your jumperoo, sofie giraffe, taking walks, watching Khloe, watching whatever mommy and daddy are doing, kisses, being tickled, siting up, us holding your hands so you can stand and being talked to
